Bubulah Elephant

This stunning toy is an ethical buy as well as a valuable one.  It is from Ibu which is a business that specialises in Fair Trade and environmentally friendly items.  The Bubulah Elephant  is from the Bholu childrens range.   

The designs all come from drawings from children aged between 3 and 7 years who come from underprivileged communities. They are  then brought to life by traditional women artisans from the remote desert communities of the Rann of Katchchh, Western Gujarat, India.

The elephant is quite large, measuring 20cm x 18cm and it is made of wool.   I think he is seriously cute.
