My Monday Off.

bloom.jpgWhat shall I do today?  Hm.  Perhaps a nice hand pamper to prepare my hands for the cold weather.  A nice coat of nail polish would add a hint of colour.  Yes,  time for a hand pamper.

Adore Beauty have a great little set by Bloom called Hand Pamper Pack.  It contains sachets of Exfoliating Hand Wash, Nail and Cuticle Treatment and Care and Repair Hand Cream.

They also have nail polish by OPI in a shade called Yucatan if U Want which is calling loudly to me.  yucatan.jpg  Nice, isn’t it?

I guess that the only thing I need to do now is to remember my nail polishing technique.  If you are having difficulty, too, then here is a video clip to help you refresh your memory.

Now put your feet up and get painting.

Just reading your post had me feeling jealous but then what an inspired idea to add an instruction video.
My mummy never taught me how to do such frivolous things as nails and I must confes to not really having much of an idea
Thanks for the prompter and the lesson.
It’s Friday as I read so maybe over the weekend …

  2. oh and I forgot I really LOVE those OPI nail polishes and their funky names!

  3. Thanks, Chris. those names are great , aren’t they? There is nothing dull about OPI.

My mother was proud of her nails and she would often give herself a manicure. Sadly I dont seem to have time (she found time even though she had 5 children!) so I have neglected mine. Hence the video clip for some inspiration!

Thanks for the visit. Keep watching to see what else I can come up with.

  4. I love those Bloom packs - they make great little gifts.
