The Italian Job
While there is nothing wrong with the remake of The Italian Job I admit to a preference for the original version from 1969.
Michael Caine is at his best as the mastermind Charlie Croker and he is supported by an all star cast including Noel Coward, Rosano Brazzi and Benny Hill. The story line is funny, the acting is excellent and the staging is totally chaotic! The movie is light hearted and ‘over-the-top’ in a way that laughs at itself. Who will ever forget the scenes with mad minis dashing throughout the streets of Turin?
If you have a day off coming up then I suggest you spend some of it watching this incredible movie.
